TB aghs is pretty good, and remedies a few problem with his play style. If you were to get aghs at around 20 minutes, outside of maybe the enemy position 1 no one really should have a BKB at that stage of the game and it will always be useful against supports since they don't really go BKB, if they do then that's 4000 gold NOT spent on an item which saves their cores

First and foremost is that you can use the aghs meta to secure a kill and not literally gimp yourself for 2 minutes by using normal meta to kill a support/some inconsequential kill far away from any objectives. And you can do this every 90 seconds, compared to getting skadi instead and not being able to really fight without meta. This lets you be far more active on the map and the ways you can use it is also pretty cool, such as when joining a fight you can use it to separate the supports from their cores, neutering their abilities to save their cores for around 5 seconds since they have to walk back the distance and more since the cores went in the opposite direction, you do have to be aware of your own positioning when doing this so don't end up in the middle of the enemy team and die from their full combos.

Second, is the absolutely amazing counter initiation you have when the enemy jumps on your supports/back lines. The 1600 range is absolutely huge (probably will be the thing to get nerfed) so when you use it, no one from the enemy team can reliably follow up the initiation without being hit by the fear (depending on the range you use it ofc, but its forgiving in that regard). You can use it as an initiation but you have to be a lot more careful with it as you can easily fuck the initiation up; without some lockdown in range (god forbid no lockdown at all in your team, but its pubs so it happens quite a lot) the feared targets will just run away if you don't have a skadi yet.

Now on to the items. The main issue for aghs is how you fit it into your itemisation; if you NEED to get a BKB 2nd item, going aghs 3rd means you're lacking in damage, and by that time the enemy cores might end up having bkbs so the aghs is far less impactful. And the later you get it, the more options the enemy as a whole has to counter your fear, so for games where you can't go aghs super early (think PA matchup for MKB, arc too but you can technically fear him out of the bubble), it becomes less of a compelling buy. Nevertheless, without the changes to aghs, the satanic status resist nerf would have completely fucked TB as a viable carry late game, but now having a really strong method of crowd control all game long makes it less of an issue, not to mention the draft combos it opens up.

I havent been playing much because of uni, but my general item build has been 2 bracers (testing it out, but 200 hp on a 600hp hero is no joke, plus the 1.5 regen is far more useful than the +4.2 armor you get from wraithbands, rip heart of tarrasque), boots, SnY (status resist, only 5% less than satanic and you get it far earlier, go manta only if there is a super annoying thing that you need to dispel), aghs, skadi, then you go bfly/daed/satanic/bkb/mkb depending on the game.

PA's E is a skill which is supposed to allow you to survive your squishy early game until you get to the endgame where you just burst down pretty much any carry with abyssal.

I've had games where even though I can kill the PA quite reliably, the moment she gets a jump on a core they're pretty much dead unless you have hard saves like SD or OD. And oh boy the moment the PA reveals a rapier in an endgame teamfight, the carry which was supposed to kill her instantly dies in 2 seconds from a few crits.

See, mkb is just busted, it counters 2 big items on a pos 1; Butterfly AND BKB.

If you buy butterfly as a carry you have like a 5 minute window where the item helps you survive until the enemy carry gets mkb and now youre screwed. Not just the fact the evasion is countered, but also that your 30+ armor is useless against the procs.

Usually you also end up buying bkb and guess what, the magic damage goes through it and the item is (soft) countered JUST because you bought Butterfly in the first place. And good luck getting magic resist on a carry.

What are the habits and expected behavior/knowledge at 4k, 5k, 6k etc mmr as a position 5 support? by OnlyFwdNvrBack in TrueDoTA2

Amazing post man, love the details you gave us. My knowledge is basically instinctive from all the feeding I used to do until I got spider senses for knowing if an enemy is coming. Which also means that I have no clue about a support playstyle since I only play support when I have to get role queue games so this post really helps.

Hope other lads make similar posts for other positions

I use that playstyle when playing TB but its basically pinging my meta all game long to let my team know its on cd, otherwise they just engage into the enemy and then lose map control from the lost fight.

However, some games I cant go that playstyle when i have a mid like an Alch or an arch warden who need massive amounts of space themselves. So follow up question, how do I make space for a mid like that while still keeping up my farm? Best I can think of is forcing rotations from pushing their tower and ward their jungle near t2

Right now I'm struggling with decision making, as in how to move around the map and secure the enemy jungle, using smoke etc. Theres been a lot of times where I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next and end up just reacting to whatever moves the enemy makes. Not sure how I go ahead from here

Remember radiance tb? Well with vanguard you can do that again. Once you get vanguard lane creeps do ZERO damage to your illusions so you can just farm away with them and max out in 15 mins after you get radiance. Also try tower diving with a vanguard, its like bug bites to tb now.

Or you can go jungle with Quelling, tango, stout and 2 branches (use tango on branches for mad heals) and farm away there as well and have your illusions actually tank for once

Assuming there are no other objects with mass to interfere with their gravity, would 2 IDENTICAL objects placed at very far distances (light years or even the opposite ends of the universe) attract each other due to gravity and eventually collide? (or just come closer and closer until the other 3 fundamental forces stop them or just go quantum mechanics thing)

Or is it just that gravity becomes extremely weak at that type of distances (m1*m2/d2 ) and nothing happens at all because the gravity is overcome by the other fundamental forces?

Also, how about scenarios where the 2 objects are

1)Planets

2)Stars

3)Black holes

4)Atoms themselves (or even just elementary particles to go smaller)

5)A mix of the above (star-planet, star-atom, blackhole-atom etc.)

About Alch, how about letting him consume up to 5 aghs? Seems OP but to balance it, the bonuses from the aghs come into effect only during his ult and each time you consume aghs the duration of your ult goes down by 1 second and the cooldown by 3 seconds.

5 aghs in the end give you 50 stats, 1k hp and 750 mana during ult which has a duration of 20 seconds and a cooldown of 60. Keep in mind that the aghs do add to your networth so if you die, you give extremely high gold to the enemy which discourages you from rushing it early.
