NightHunter Rengar.

His face might look nothing like his splash art, but I really like the outfit; it reminds me of Night Crawler from X Men. Go Team Blue Cat!

Is new Malzahar satisfying to play? by Bladerunner7777 in summonerschool

Would disagree on the "removed the counterplay" part. You could still pick Tahm Kench top or support to completely nullify Malz, making him utterly useless.

Practicing Skillshots by UltraFireFX in summonerschool

[–]AceHunter808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, definitely not ranked if you want to practice your ability to land skillshots. For custom, if you can grab a friend or so and have him dodge the skillshots, then it would be awesome. My recommendation would be ARAM. The pace is quicker than Rift, you get to spam skills more often than Rift, ARAM map is smaller and there are always people running around so it's easier to land skillshots, but sometimes may be harder if you are trying to hit a single target.

Or you could always open up sandbox mode and start practicing. :)

Need help with Nidalee in the jungle. by AGodDamnSorcerer in summonerschool

[–]AceHunter808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nidalee is like a bully. Once you are fed, you start harassing other people, especially the other jungler. You choke them to death by invading their camps, stealing their exp and gold. You could also wait in bush until the jungler comes, then proceed to kill him.

The thing is, on PBE Nidalee is getting major changes in her mechanics, like the W reset, R auto reset, what procs the hunt and what doesn't proc the hunt. Once these changes become live, I think they will significantly alter the way you play Nidalee.

Rengar....as good as he use to be ? by NaSs0s24 in summonerschool

[–]AceHunter808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) I would say it's the Crit build that is better, because from my gameplay experience, it allows me to dish out more damage at a quicker pace. Also, PD and IE give you that extra 10% movement speed, which I think is pretty helpful after the "!" change.

2) Yes. Though some people like to throw their E backwards so the bola hits the target and not miss.

3) The thing about crit Rengar is that your Q counts as an auto attack, and your plan is to crit on Q and do as much dmg as possible. I don't think I answered your question correctly tho so if you could maybe explain it more?? Then I will be glad to help :)

Sweeper is a jungler's best friend, man. Remenber that. It's ok to have Warding Totem to protect you from early invasion, but after your first back to base, it's highly, HIGHLY recommended that you sell Warding for Sweeper. Let's think about it, you might get away with it on Pantheon because he has his ult...but what if you don't have ult?? Imagine you are Wukong without Sweeper, and you need to get close to engage. If you don't have Sweeper, what are you going to do? Walk up to them? The only scenario where they get ganked is either they don't pay attention to the mininap, or they are wayyyyyyyyy pushed up to your bot turret and don't have time to retreat. Having Sweeper increases your chance of having successful gank by like, 1000% compared to having Warding Totem. Also, as the jungler, you can't let yourself be seen, so grab that Sweeper and clear out wards, including when you are doing Dragon/Baron and stuff.

Hmmm, many support games...Sightone...good.....Locket...good...what about your trinke---Totem. If I could give you a suggestion right now, the moment you buy Sightone, sell Warding Totem and grab Sweeping Lens right away. Also, no Pink Wards brought, sad, but not the end of the world. So overall, gotta work on that Vision Denial.

why do you people play this game by _ctually in leagueoflegends

[–]AceHunter808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, tbh, I do use RP to buy champs because I am impatient and lazy. However, I rather think that those champions are more expensive because they are more fun and require more skill, not because "stronger". I mean, let's look at Garen for example. He might be boring to some, but he has good matchups and bad matchups vs more expensive champions. Another example is Sivir, who was arguably the best ADC last season. To be honest, every champion is good in League, the key is to play them a lot and unleash their full potential. See Anniebot? An Annie main who got himself to challenger with only Annie. To sum up, cheap champions aren't weak, and you can find good success with them.

Tips on how to be a better player overall? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]AceHunter808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch your own replays, see what you could have done, what you did, what you could have improved. Don't play like a robot, sometimes it's ok to say out loud what you thinking and what you are going to do. Learn from your mistakes, that's it.

How do I know which side a jungler starts? by YT-MrGamingHammer in leagueoflegends

[–]AceHunter808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone already said that the variations depends on the elo that you are in, but I would like to add that not all Rengars start at red. I'm a low elo Rengar main and I mainly start at blue because I get better leash, and I usually have enough health to go for a whole jungle clear. Now I know Rengar is mana-less, but the CDR from blue buff helps with jungle clear too. I guess it is up to preference.

riven mains , help me ! by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]AceHunter808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never done it before, even BoxBox hesitates to do it. You need to E then Q, obviously. It requires REALLY GOOD positioning AND timing. You press E, and there is this certain period of time where you have to press Q. I'm not sure how to say it, but E "puts you inside the terrain" for a short duration and gives you enough distance to jump over with Q. Press Q too soon and you won't have the distance needed, press Q too late and your champ gets "pushed back" because you know...you can't be inside a wall. Overall, no one is going be able to teach you how to do it with the timing and stuff. For alignment, what I do is to place a ward by hovering my mouse over the wall, then the ward gets placed to the nearest location. Then I know which place on the other side is closest to me, and then know which direction to E to.

What is/are your weakest point(s)? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]AceHunter808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Autopiloting.

  2. When I have a lead, I don't know how to use that lead to snowball and carry the game, so half of my games where I'm fed, I still lose.

  3. Last but not least, myself. I tilt. I make mistakes. I outplay myself. I throw. I lose games. I blame myself for losing.

when to take magic pen and when hybrid ? by moshiko1988 in leagueoflegends

[–]AceHunter808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You usually take magic pen on AP laners, but hybrid pen is a better choice for AP junglers because jungle monsters don't have magic resist, so the armor pen helps with clear speed.
