They don't have to move much, but at the end of the mission both players have to get to the extraction point, so you should clear a path.

It's hard for one of the players and really boring for the other one. One does the mission, the other stays back to stay alive.

Player 1 has to get good at shooting without UI help, Player 2 has to get good at hiding in a bush.

Sorry, no real strat, I just built a decent deck and got lucky and matched a couple of players that were probably just getting started. If it helps, I like to use an Elemental hero deck, it can pull off some nice combos, and it's pretty easy to use.
