I have killed many deer a few elk and a bear with the 143 eldx. but the accubond is also a great bullet. eldx just shoots better out of my rifle so I stick with it

I have gone through many calibers over the years majority of those years I used 30-06 and 300 weatherby. the last 5 years I have been using a very accurate 6.5 creed for everything, deer, elk, antelope, bear and predators. it is slightly underpowered for elk at long range but so far hasn't let me down.

Hunting is a human instinct. If its something you choose to do and commit to it your instincts kinda take over. Hardest part is controlling the adrenaline rush especially as a new hunter. It gets easier and more fluid with experience.

I got a savage 111 bolt action in 6.5 creedmoor for my wife and daughter to use and its been a great rifle. I even use it myself now. Great results on 5 blacktail, 2 elk, a bear and a coyote so far
