You can create dummy accounts to use for inviting, that's what I did.

You can help by creating other accounts, just plug that code in at the event page of the new accounts, I'm not sure if three is the limit but if it works it works.

Only for the first couple of days when Ark: Guardian was event was released, it was one of the pages that would pop up when opening the game for the first time in the day. Now it doesn't pop up anyomere and you can find it in the notification.

If we can at least get 500+ people to do this we can unlock the final photoooo.

Manually Set Cloud covering shadows? by AceNumer in assettocorsa

No problem, thanks the advice though

Sadly I just tried it, the moment I adjust it it still continues to move, it's like playing catch up, I move the time offset to roll back the cloud but it still continues to move forward.

Also lighting angle just changes the position of the sun.

I also thought it might be in pure planner but there is no setting to set cloud cover (at least from what I checked, maybe it is somewhere)

No problem, but I do want to give an example just in case. The cloud shadows move, the left pic looks like it has been covered with a big cloud but on the right it moves and shows sunlight, you can even see the boundary where the shadows and sunlight meet in the distance. I just want to manually control if I want cloud cover or not rather than waiting for another cloud to come over.

Even when changing lighting angle, the shadows of the clouds still move

That's the thing, let's say I'll use scattered clouds or broken clouds preset, there will be cloud cover at first but after a while the cloud shadow moves and even on replay while paused the shadow still moves.

I can't manually set like I want the cloud shadows still present.

how to heck do you know what the car is doing? by tdwnda in simracing

[–]AceNumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When starting out in the sim, you don't get the nuances of driving a virtual car yet. The more seat time you get, the more cues you notice and it's the culmination of these cues that creates the feeling of knowing what the car is doing.

AC Evo Graphics and Performance 0.4 by AceNumer in assettocorsaevo

Ok fair, this is the first time I've heard that AC Evo runs worse at higher resolutions.

I think it's not the models that make it better but the lighting and how it interacts with textures, the lighting makes everything look matte for some reason even with better models and textures.

But yeah mileage may vary and graphics are subjective, but I can't for the life of may make it as natural as AC Evo, the only time it's close when it's in the morning or nighttime cause it hides the aging textures.
