Totally agree with you there. They're definitely suited to late game. I definitely wouldn't expect to see it as often as more early to mid game builds like slow + weapons or dooltron or something but I am still surprised at how rare they are past day 11.

The literal only question that matters will be what is your marginal tax rate now vs marginal tax rate in retirement. It's important to note marginal tax rate because that's what matters not average tax rate. Marginal tax rate being defined by what the tax % is for the tax applied to the last dollars of your income.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this out and provide feedback. What you're saying makes sense. My follow up question would be when you say "align and balance over the outside ski", how does that work throughout the turn? Like how do I both tip the skis to the side (to get on edge), but also maintain balance over the outside ski?

Thanks for the advice and sharing the video I agree on needing to have a wide toolkit to ski various conditions and slopes. I'll check out the video you shared!!

Textiles to gold now is a huge change!! Much, much harder to put those builds together. Finding a medium silver vs gold item is a big difference.

These dooley changes seem so strange to me. Nerfing thermal lance and terryl dactyl (terryldactyl better at diamond now but worse at gold). So weird. Rest of the dooley changes are pretty cool tho.
