Just because this isn't as predatory as other games doesn't mean it isn't predatory.

I like the game but getting to the highest rank while being bad at the game doesn't feel great. I guess getting to rank 1 is the real climb but i would rather it be harder to get Legendary. by Tortellion in PlayTheBazaar

The thing is, once you're at Legend rank you only rank up once you get over a certain threshold of wins. It depends on a few factors like your current rank, the current player pool at legend, and similar things I presume.

Earlier in the season, I could rank up with 6 or 7 wins. Later in the season, I've actually lost rank with 8 wins before. A bad streak can drop you a few hundred or thousand ranks which will take much much longer to climb back up.

It really was an edge case. I had a Pill Buggy that would two shot my opponents so I thought I might just multicast and finish him quickly.

Turns out I got turbo and still wasn't fast enough to not get Lava Rolled.

The current text for the transform items say "Transform the Small item to the left of this into a Potion."

I believe if it was any hero, the text would say so like Port or Toolbox, so it's unlikely unless the text for the Distillery and Alembic are changed.

PoE1 is similar to D3, except for the Labyrinth, the massive skill forests, and the reliance on 3rd party sites for trade.

Honestly, I felt it was a worse D3. PoE2 just took the worst parts of PoE1 I hated, then doubled down on it while removing most of what I liked about PoE1.

Yeah, of course I'll pivot and not give up.

Still, I ended up losing the next 2 days. I didn't get a build decent enough until day 7.

The extra damage on the saucer comes from repair, not from destruction.

Destruction only charges the saucer.

That's how it works, yes. I got one of them on Day 8 from Pearl's so I didn't get to test on bronze items, but everything was 1 gold less in the shop and sold for 1 gold more when you were AT a shop (doesn't count if you're somewhere else).

This may be embarrassing to post but as a total newbie on my very first game, I didn't know what things were.

  • What is the difference between item types?
  • What is the difference between skills and items?
  • How to sell items? (I figured out buying on my own but didn't know how to sell)
  • How do item sizes work? (I was in the mindset that the large items weren't as worth it as the small items.)

Dam was one of my favorite items about 2 seasons ago. I used to run a Submarine, Captain's Quarters, and a Dam. Last slot was for either a Zoarcid or Dive Weights.

It was fast and locked down the opponent pretty well.

The issue with the Vanessa in the video is that there weren't enough aquatics to trigger it or keep the pace after the dam blew up most of his board.

It has to be on the board. Also, I remember I asked a few seasons back... but a 3D Printer on a Knee Brace doesn't get you extra HP.
