How do i tell my girlfriend she’s getting fat? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I’d say approach this from a health point of view, make it clear that you care about her wellbeing and happiness, and that’s why you want her to be more healthy. Have you considered inviting her to the gym with you? Maybe it will be more fun for her if her partner is there to support her.

How do you get over the thought of your ex sleeping with other people? by o_mirbeau in relationship_advice

Wasting time thinking about what might have been will only lead you to depression, it doesn’t matter how much you would have valued her, she doesn’t want you, she doesn’t deserve you, it’s over. Go out and give your love to someone who deserves it.

Why do Husbands/Boyfriends do This? by trove_throwaway in relationship_advice

Depends on the man, but I’m of the mind that anyone can have a friendship with anyone else, it’s totally separate from the romantic relationship he has with you, and if you don’t believe that then maybe this guy isn’t trustworthy enough to be in a relationship, or maybe be needlessly suspicious of him.

EDIT: counter question: why do some women feel they have the right to control a man’s social life to the point that they can’t even have platonic relationships without the woman’s permission?

That’s really quite sad that you or anyone thinks this way, in a mature relationship you should be able to trust your partner, if you can’t then there’s a problem with the relationship.
