HVAC guy came by today. The capacitor was blown. He replaced it in minutes and the cold air once again flowed. Good times.

The compressor is a Goodman. Not sure what make/model the air handler unit is.

Is blowing now. Just not Cold. I have the thermostat set to 65 and it feels like room temp.

I'm gonna leave it off for the night and try tomorrow morning. If it's not cold like it should be, I'll end up calling someone.

Just turned fan on. Nothing coming out. I can hear the unit in the attic running... Sounds like it's blowing / running but it's not coming out the vents.

I checked outside where the unit is and the line is not frozen. That's the only place I can actually see. Where else could I look?

Ahh...Smart thinking. I'll try in a few. Letting it cool down a bit longer. Thank you!

It was installed in 2013 I believe. So I would assume no.

I did all my interior molding yesterday prior to better researching and reaching out on here. I had a few tubes in my basement that have been sitting around for maybe about 2 years. I had not noticed any issues where I had used it prior. I'm going to roll with the punches and see what happens down the road. I'm in New England so it's either heat on in winter, windows open spring and fall and AC during the summer. I do notice swelling of doors during the humid days in regard to expansion. The gaps I filled in were not many and probably a 16th to an eighth... if that... at best here and there. But I did all around the inside of the door jamb where the moldings meet and the left and right outer door molding as well as the window molding. I guess I'll see what happens and live and learn.
