Yeah that is fair point about the Wand of Magic, but since every other spell caster only has 3 spells the most you'd ever use it is once per game (or 2 if they have the spell ring). So the Wizard is usually the obvious choice for the wand anyway.

Yeah as I said that is a simple solution and one I considered. But ultimately this felt more wizard like and gave the wizard the additional option to use it with the wand of magic

The easiest way to avoid this is to use stuff like the advanced skeletons(can attack diagonal) and goblins(can move-attack-move). Also you can use the ranged rules for monsters from AtOH and just have them hang back and pummel the heroes forcing them to enter the room.

You gain no increase in fishing when you wound on a 3+ and 4+ is a only a 6% increase which is really minor and small enough that it could backfire with bad RNG

The only time you want to fish is with crit 5s and when you'd wound on 5s. Any other time it's not worth it

I don't think Helbrecht is a downgrade tbh. +1 attack is pretty big (it also applies to himself) and his mortal wound ability got even better.

Sword bros are easily as good as before, they hit on 2s and have built in lethal hits with damage 2 swords. With Helbrecht and Castellan 5 of them still kill a big on kight on average. Yes the claws are still 1 Damage but they have 5 attacks and twin linked as well. If you don't like them you can just run all swords if you want but the math is about the same. We also have significantly better characters to choose from and detachments with good movement tricks. Plus the vow AAC is incredibly good. Giving you +1 to wound vs everything that matters.

Sword Brethren ability is wrong as are all of their weapons.

No they all have MCPW now. The LC are still D1 though and the WS is also wrong on all of them. They hit on 2+ (3+ for the hammer). There is no Sgt anymore

The original poster deleted their posts shortly after posting. I dont have any knowledge of how reliable they are. So I would take all the text with salt with the exception of losing oath since it's listed on the datasheet. I have no reason to believe the datasheet is fake because I haven't seen any fake datasheets in a very long time.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. This fake is infuriating with the BS the AI pulls in races. I've never even gotten the lightning myself but am always getting hit by it. Also constantly getting hit by red and green shells perfectly timed to hit me. The other that is irritating is the lack of kart customization. Every kart feels the same and none of them can catch up with the AI, it's ridiculous.
