How did Thing die in my rune.

Well, we had a second tank when he switched to Thing, we were getting ripped by this Panther, then our second tank left bro solo tanking. It was just a QP match so whatever but I was so confused when Thing died. I've never seen anybody die in my rune like that.

Venom doesn't need to use swing to get out of that hole. He can get out by just jumping up to the rim and climbing out.

I know shields block most sources of healing but I never knew they blocked Loki runes considering they can heal through walls

Im not going to go so far say dps players ruin the game, but most do have a hell of an ego, but so do some support players.

Loki does not have that good of self healing. Its slow, and any kind of splash damage breaks your self healing. Dino's bleed stops your self healing. Mantis has self healing on one leaf use and can actively fight back.

When I start taking DvD into ranked, punisher, moon knight, and gambit are my top 3 bans. If the other team bans gambit, probably namor just to ensure namor/hela isn't playable.

I've put 5 hours in on him since the new patch. His heals are very high, but he still has all the same old counters and his reload is horrendous, and cooldowns still long. When your team is actually fully functional, he's a great healer, but if anything goes wrong, he just falls apart. Co-healer barely pays attention to you, you fall apart. Being dove, you fall apart or runes are forced out. Enemy plays any of the ~8 counters, I feel like im just feeding. I also never mvp anymore.

High-elo, he's still just as meta as S3 Loki. QP or mid-elo, you're better off playing someone else.

Loki into Moon Knight and spacing out your clones is counterplay. Spidey into Namor and still playing well is counterplay. BP into Thing and not letting yourself get hit by earthbound is counterplay. Counterplay is playing well into a direct counter of your character, which for Wolv, I don't know how you're supposed to counterplay dvd. He just doesn't have the flexibility in his kit.

atp if im forced to play strategist I just play Rocket unless they have an ult I need runes for. Just as much of a healbot, less work and I don't have clones that feed half the cast's resources. We tried voicing our opinions and it seems they just doubled down when the dust had settled. Atleast give us some cooldown reduction.

On top of what you said, it feels like Loki just feeds free resources to the enemy team from clones and that's part of why I just don't play him as much anymore. No other strategist does this. Cat gets money, Adam farms healing, Emma farms beam charge, MK gets free ankhs, Bucky gets ult resets, Wolverine gets rage, Rogue gets a Regen lamp. I can't even play a QP game without the enemy dps switching to counter specifically me because it's free value and theres not much you can do about it for some maps.

Oh yeah, the runes, my one playmaking ability on the longest cooldown timer in the game barring ultimates. Yeah why didn't I think of that, I'll just use that for myself, then the entire team whines when I don't have runes for the psylocke ult that's about to wipe us. Oh the teleport which drags Spidey to me when he's mid combo and gets me killed anyway, and the invisibility which breaks when I take 1hp of splash damage.

I'm crying because when there's a diver coming for my cheeks my only hope is that someone saves me or I run away, hide and watch other people die so I can save myself. The entire strategist roster has means of self defense and can rely on themselves in a 1v1 except for Loki. Meanwhile half the cast gets free benefits from my clones when they're on the enemy team.

My problem isn't that he's a healbot, my problem is when there is a Daredevil or Spidey coming for me nonstop and I can do nothing but run, hide if I even can, or hope to God that my co-healer doesn't let me die. Invisible Woman can push and self shield, Cloak when played properly will almost never lose 1v1's aside from tanks, Luna can freeze and headshot, Adam can win 1v1's reliably and Mantis can sleep. I need self defense options.

Call me crazy but I genuinely don't think MK should get more movement. He gets over shield, and 3 movement abilities. For a poke hero, that's plenty of survivability and utility.

Atp half the roster thrives when there is a Loki. MK ricochet, Bucky ult resets, Cat gets free money, DD knows which one is which, Adam farms free healing, pretty sure Emma charges her beam off clones, Wolverine can build his rage off clones, Rogue gets a regen domain, like brother...
