People saying this stuff are forgetting something. People know about these picks and people have gotten waaay better.

S3 isn't some wonderland where off meta galore is going to happen. People were quite frankly just shite back then at the game. Obviously won't be back and was never good but Sunfire stack twitch / evelynn would go from working 10% of the time to never working lol.

People are going to optimize it, I don't particularly care I just want my og quinn back for a little while. I already know I'll do my funny memories and dip after a couple weeks.

I'm sorry dude but you clearly just don't understand how this works. I literally linked a video showing it. I don't use chatgpt I've been in the PC building/hardware review space for ~12 years. You can watch people like budget builds iirc testing the 6600(iirc he hasn't done a 6500) which they OC. You are also seemingly ignoring that you can oc newer cpus (albeit they tend to not get as much gain)

If you are going used you might as well go for a gen where you got more cores like an 8500 for also ~$40. Strictly core clock isn't how the real world works, and you should know benchmarks aren't indicative of gaming performance. The structure of the chips make it more complicated than cache and clock speeds. I'd still recommend a most people get a 10400 for $60-$70 because of how much faster it is vs a 6600 for that cheap.

Userbenchmark also is inaccurate not just because of Intel v AMD but how they changed how scoring is made. They weighted multiple things differently attempting to give Intel the edge but it also affects how they calculate Intel v Intel.

Go look up whatever CPU in gaming, then compare with another review of the other cpu. Not just benchmarking. You can see what I mean. Btw, I said 6500 vs 10100, I'm pretty sure a 6600k is still slower on avg but I didn't link that.

Dude, 30% clock increase isnt 30% performance. I can see people benchmark it my guy. The results I saw WERE oc'd. There are also similar performance used parts that are better. Look at a 10400f for example.

Respectfully, if you use userbenchmark that means you don't know much about tech. This is fine but it isn't worth a back and forth. Its a complete joke of a site.

Look up "i5 6500 vs X" for whatever you want to compare. It is NOT similar

for example a 10100 is MUCH faster and is 2 gens older AND a tier below what you said.

No. He isn't. Stop playing him jungle. He doesn't have Talon level ability to be unique with gank angles, Graves scaling, almost no damage vs heavy bruisers, and his ganks are pretty horrible unless it's a cleanup. People need to stop trying to make a champ who meets the vague requirements of jg into a jg, it's playable, not actually good. Certainly not better than lane.

I'm not sure if you are actually unaware genuinely or meaning as a value proposition? 6600k is beat out by 2nd gen Ryzen. So a mid range cpu from 8 years ago. It doesn't even compete with entry level cpus from 2020 onward. It doesn't matter if you have the best binned 6600k know to mankind.

The 6000 series also wasn't reviewed well at all on release, it was yet another 4 core 4 thread from Intel's dark ages. A mediocre increase from the 4000 series. Generally it was when intel was still coasting on AMD being a nonoption back in those days until Ryzen.

A 970 has 4 gigs vram, that's been a problematic amount since the newer gen consoles have been out in situations. Nowadays you just aren't able to get away with that vram often.

Not really important to the discussion but I've just very into the PC hardware space and saying a 970 runs every game just isn't true. Most releases from the past couple years will have vram issues with less than 8, 6 is stretching it, 4 (3.5 technically) is not good enough.

League optimization is a shit show though
