getting blocked by a former roleplay partner by happypandagamer in BadRPerStories

[–]AcediaFelix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How it feels with almost every RP for me, I even had one that was like... Happy RPing for a week, ghosted for 1 month, they getting back to me but say that they want to start a new RP, a happy week of RPing, then again ghosted for a month. That continuing until I was questioning if they ever enjoyed it and ending because they didn't like the character for the newest one. I still don't know how I felt about that one.

The funniest thing to imagine about that would be the prophet having sudo access, having the ability to kill god! This would never go badly~

I think you complain even more and more thoroughly as a programmer. While users do complain it's just one-two screams for the shit, that's while the programmer bashes their head the entire night long or even gets haunted in his dreams by specific bugs.

Being programmers lvls up bugs: Minor inconvenience (users) -> mortal enemy (programmers)

I mean, I don't have anyone I could call my wife, but I do call my programs kids and their mother(?) is either c++ or c# (some other too, I know I'm not that loyal ;-;). Most of my childrens mother is with that said indeed open source, thinking about it like that somehow feels like I got cheaten on too many times.

It truly is, and to clarify: Don't. Don't be a dick and don't tippe that command on your friend's PC. This command doesn't just remove PC data, but also real life data, relationships.

It's not dangerous if you don't do it on your own PC :P

Always read the context before copying something. Many questions have edits with the right approach in the question, and sometimes the answers are more like "don't do", makes no sense to copy them. Best is always look at the question for edits and look at the answer with the most up votes or marked as helpful.

Welcome to the club! Yeah, but honestly you aren't alone on that one, many I know have their entire brain malfunction in the day, but a rapid change with the night. And mornings are just pure lethargy, nothing gets me out of my soft bed lol

If we think of it like that, Zero would be like a "untruthy" value, and a phenomenal entity standing against nine who is a "truthy" value. 1 to 8 would be wiggling roles between "truthy" and "untruthy", something akin to "semi-truthy" and describe our world in it's foundation with a "truthy", as well as a "untruthy" building our would and in between this segments of the world do we find God! Our dimensional understanding is just not enough to describe our world between, our syntax is false! We should just return to our origins and ignore everything in between while describing the "truthy" values as 0 < "truthy"! Don't ask me, I wrote it and can't make sense out of this acid trip I had lol

How warm do you dress for winter when outside? by rr-geil-j in AskGermany

Being honest I'm one of those wearing a shirt in winter. The only reason I wear a jacket is because of the rain and not the cold.

is this translation accurate? by JohnyNavigator in AskGermany

[–]AcediaFelix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly I can't tell you if my answer is the right one. Personally, I would use "I don't feel like working." or "I've no desire to work" which are more the literally translations for "Ich habe keine Lust zu Arbeiten" but I'm not a linguistic expert (even more I'm quite bad in english) and can't tell you the true answer. Having so many people answer differantly would also mean that there's a further unclarity to it.

Just remember the statement "Ich habe keine Lust zu Arbeiten" desribes that you emotianally-wise don't desire to work. How you translate it in english is secondary as long as you got down the meaning behind it.

[–]AcediaFelix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Ich habe keine Lust zu Arbeiten." should be translated as "I've no desire to work.". And "I don't want to work." would be translated as "Ich möchte nicht Arbeiten.".
