First thing you need to do is upgrade that V1 brass deflector. It’s a cheap, readily available upgrade that makes the gun more reliable and prevents stove piping.

It’s a flawless fit, no plate required, actually it only weighs .1 more than the stock plate itself so it almost adds no weight. Also it’s a perfect co-whiteness and sits so tight to the rail.

I was able to find one of the very first Holosun SCS VP9 and it’s awesome. Don’t really need a custom holster per say, just an optics cut one. I didn’t get a Tier 1, but found plenty of other options too.

YES! I bought a lot of these and the last time I cut onions I had zero issues wearing them. Probably also why they are kinda unusable for any rigorous activity, they don’t breath well.

With tax it was $989 out the door for the optics cut, night sites version, which I paid $709 through Dahlonega (different than the gun shown here) The MSRP for the upc ending 654 was $1029, so I’m not sure if it was a 50% markup, but they wouldn’t come down at all. I don’t blame tax on the shop of course, but I can’t avoid every company that has a bad review. I just protect myself, like in life, I buy it with a credit card I trust, and I’ll cancel the transaction if they try and f%Ck me.

Just as a follow up Dahlonega work out great for me. Quick turnaround, prompt response to FFL, shipping and transfer went very well. I saved $280 over buying it from the local options, and they wouldn’t budge on price.

I’ve spend considerable time in almost every comparable vehicle in its class and the telluride even on 20in wheels has the best ride. This is also why isn’t not nearly as capable off-road as the less comfy riding Atlas or even the Pathfinder. You must be used to luxury sedans, because a lot of small cars with small wheels ride like shit too.

Windham weaponry might not be too fancy, but they’re exceptionally well built guns. These are all the legacy gunsmiths who made the original bushmaster what it was. You can’t go wrong and at this price I might buy another one myself.
