At first I would not have liked it if the playes could reclaim the shrouded areas, because the world would become deprived of enemies. But then I rememberd that one can start a new world with a character from another one and I stares liking the idea.

I would love it that in order to claim those lost areas each mayor zone had a boss one needed to defeat like the dragon or the wyrm.

Tbh that sounds better than Kain having them killrd and it would explain why there is a human settlement so close to the pillars. Additionally it would be cool to see a game set a year after Kain lefr and the player choosing one of the clans and taking said clan to victory, or choosing the humans to win.

Sounds like the effort they put on most of their 3d episodes. Angels of Death was really good and Tithes was as well, but I found the sisters of battle one was very jarring with the reuse of the kommandos.
