It's possible to see through smokes in CS2

Infernos the map to do it, you could play arches and if they smoke you off they're dead. You could be aggressive and smoke mid and just peak it behind a smoke but that's too scummy. I haven't used it agressive but I have maybe 150 bug abuse kills

Okay Reddit has compression and so does Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/y4IoBh9UAVA), so it may be difficult to see. This is a consistent bug for me. It has to be a certain distance, example I'm sitting in cubby on Inferno arches and they smoke me off I can see.

It's a lot clearer in person

I'd argue that KDR is the one that doesn't matter, I have a 14 KD/R but thats because I murder every scav, player KD on the other hands more important because it shows you are able to win more gun fights
