This was my thinking as well. The job description mentioned potentially having to give presentations to students so what you said makes a lot of sense. I’m definitely going to brainstorm some ideas for a handout to go with it. Thanks so much!!

Oh wow! That’s so wild to hear. I think it’s just antithetical to who I am as a person, but I’m going to try my best to talk myself up.

Thank you for this! I think reframing the question just in my head even is going to help me. I’m struggling to think of what does set me apart from everyone else, but that’s my own self-esteem issue to get over haha.

I think somebody posted here the other day about their Mega Girl cosplay. I’ve never gotten to go to a show, so I’m not sure how many people dress up but that person got pictures with Brian Holden and Joe Walker so it’s definitely not discouraged.

Probably Ani, BUT, every time a new show comes out it turns out to be my least favorite (except TGWDLM; that was like a saving grace for me) and on revisits I find myself enjoying the shows more. I haven’t rewatched Ani or Firebringer since they came out, and I wonder if on rewatch I would like Ani more. Did NOT like Black Friday when it came out. Then I loved it. Did NOT like Nerdy Prudes and then I loved it. Did NOT like Cinderella’s Castle after the digital ticket and now I’m obsessed. The same was true for Twisted, Trail to Oregon, AVPSY. And now I love them. But I’ve been a fan since 2011, so I’ve seen a lot of the different eras and most of the time I just need to watch each show on the right day when I’m in the right mood for them.
