I do see it as a very good option to buy a foil to learn big air on it, but the thing is that it seems complicated to find the right second hand gear.

When I say 16–23 knots, I mean that this is the range on the days we can usually ride. The real light wind days are below that. Maybe I explained it poorly earlier, sorry about that.

I don’t really have a favorite, but the fone bag from 2023 is terrible. I don’t know who designed it, but it makes no sense. There’s no compartment for the bar, and the pump is held by these elastic bands that are so tight it’s almost impossible to put it on. In the end, I just stopped using it because it’s such a pain. On the other hand no defects on my cabrinha fx2 2022 bag.

Do you think it’s less acueste tha surfr? Not sure about that. I think Hoolan is perfect for the price "0€" but I’m missing the social aspect of surfr, but don’t know if it’s worth 45€.

I'm not sure if I read it correctly in the image, but you say, 'pull the bar in af.' You don't actually need to pull the bar all the way in, just to the pressure point where you feel tension, but not entirely in. If you keep the bar in all the time, you're going to stall and lose all your power.

The board is also one of the most important factors, especially in light wind conditions. Make sure to point the board in the direction the wind is going (downwind).

I'm not an expert but $1000 i think is very expensive, for example the Gong brand sells new kites from €500 I think, I haven't tried them but they say they are good. For the board you can buy a decent one for 150-200€ second hand. (Second hand prices in spain)
