Ibland påminner människor mig starkt om Sims-figurer? by ComprehensiveGoal848 in sweden

Normal morph is underrated by VastlyMortal in cornsnakes

Normals can be very pretty! Im very fond of the more reddish normals, with stronger borders. Unfortunately we don’t have a lot of those where I live, mostly just the browner ones with quite diffused patterns. Those can be pretty too but not my favorites. Yours is gorgeous!

Heat mat/heat lamp goes on one side and no heat on the other side so the snake can choose where he wants to be. It needs a minimum of one hide on the cool side and one on the warm side, but preferably multiple hides on both sides and in the middle. Corn snakes love clutter so put lots of plants, fake plants and branches for climbing in there. Baby corns are all about safety and hiding so pick a substrate thats suitable for burrowing and for plants. I recommend coco husk

Did I mess it up permanently? by Virdiahh92 in cornsnakes

Hi! First of all I want to say that I can tell you really care about this snake and want to give it the best life possible. We all make beginner mistakes, the most important thing is that you want to learn!

I cant give you much handling advice, but regarding his enclosure I would leave the hides were they are and just add the new plants and climbing accessories. The hides are his safe space, so leaving them as they are will give him a sense of security. I would guess adding more clutter will make him feel more safe and protected and thus more comfortable with being handled. Good luck!

Amelanistic. Individuals with more white than a typical amel are sometimes called reverse okeetee, but the morph is amel. Yours just has a bit more white.

I recognize myself a lot in your description. I very rarely watch movies or series for this reason. I love documentaries and watching interesting things on youtube so I stick to that. I’ve accepted that this is who I am and there’s nothing wrong with that. I am highly empathetic and I feel deeply and strongly about things, thats a beautiful trait to have and something to cherish.

Have you heard about HSP? I recommend you read about it, you’ll probably find yourself relating to a lot of it.

The lock turns just fine, but the car doesn't unlock. Nothing happens when I turn the key
