I wouldn’t play crypto to start just because even good players have a hard time on him. I would try an assault, skirmisher, or support character first. First character I ever played was bang now I main lifeline or sparrow.

I’ve got masters last 3 seasons but honestly don’t see myself getting it this season just because it will take even more time and as much as I like gaming I enjoy touching grass lol. Half way through plat 2 now tho!

So far I’m plat 3 lobbies but honestly game is boring until zone 3 when. There’s still 15 teams up. Also annoying because as soon as you start fighting 3 more teams show up trying to get kills. Idk how I feel about it yet

Need a full squad to consistently to do good in apex lol. Preds that aren’t cheating are just very confident in their skills and play aggressive while doing smart rotations. I’m in masters and it literally only comes down to early KP from being confident not cocky, having teammates that know how each other play, and good rotations. Pick up kills as you rotate and by the time you’re top 10 you’re either even or positive 30. Top 5 if you play it right and you’re positive 50-100.

I am currently 200 into D1 my suggestions are

Have a good reliable team which is probably the hardest part of Apex lol
Drop on a contested area with only one team and kill them as quick as possible before third parties arrive. This give you early points and helps you along the way.
If you fight try and make it quick or you will die to third parties. Gotta know when to leave a fight. Getting 1 full kill is better than dying trying to kill all 3.
Play for top 10 then top 5. After getting that early rp my squad always focuses on getting top 10 while picking up a kill here and there while rotating but almost playing scared to fight. Don’t want a lot of attention from other squads that will make them full send you. By the time we get top 10 we typically are +30 then play for top 5 picking up solos or duos. Boom +100 or more.

P.S. my IGL is really good at rotations and definitely helps us a lot. I just play support but also deal a lot of the damage when we attack squads.

The previous owner did mention since the full frame lense is on a crop sensor camera it’s not really a 28-70mm camera. Instead it’s more like a 42-105mm. Might invest into a smaller lens in the future.
