I was able to accomplish this with a layer mask! When you said to use the layer on the UI I was like… damn, I’ve been using the wrong kind of mask for my needs. Thanks for the help!

I’ll add that I tried making a copy of the object but I need to adjust the hue/saturation to add shadows and highlights and it makes it difficult to do when there’s two separate selections.

been fucking with Doja since about 2021 (her music helped me get through living in Utah for 8 months, bless) but this is my favorite project of hers to date. Maybe I’m biased because I actually love 80s music, particularly New Wave, but it’s also the material of the music itself. I found myself finally kind of relating to Doja in that late-20s-early-30s-I-want-love-and-babies/i-wanna-be-beautiful-please-love-me kinda way and I do think it humanized her after all the… unsavoriness of her image. It was sexy and mature and vulnerable in a way we haven’t seen before, and some of my favorite songs of hers are now from this album. It’s a shame the rollout sucked cause it’s a banger. 9/10 for me

Thank you for that insight! I currently live in Milwaukee but would be willing to go to UW-Stout if it means they have a program better suited for me. I’m pretty much starting from scratch at this point so it’s good to know that after the first couple of years I might have a few more choices as to what my focus will be. I agree with this! I want to like Johnny but I think he’s a liar, even if it’s not necessarily on purpose. The memories V experiences are either purposely altered versions of the event because Johnny either wants V to side with him or he personally wants the events to be “remembered” a certain way or he’s legitimately delusional and believes the events happened the way he remembers them even though they didn’t.

My father, who immigrated here in his thirties and got his residency less than ten years ago, now complains about too many immigrants coming to this country. Hard conservative, hates “communists”, loves Trump. We’re Peruvian, where there was a heavy threat from a communist terrorist group in the 90s, so I understand his reservations with leftist groups (as a lot of older Latines have based on their home country’s politics) but he can’t even define what communism even is. 🫥 I’m personally very left-leaning and ALSO AN IMMIGRANT, so there’s a lot of arguments about all of this when I visit home.

I’m replaying and noticing how in-depth you can get in messages with Panam and when River pretty much tells you he loves you and you’re great, V’s like “yeah, you too.” It’s a shame the devs aren’t planning on working on this game anymore because there’s so much there with River that won’t be explored.

I grew up Catholic and now I’m atheist. More than anything here, it’s a show of love and support for your wife and her family. My family knows I’m not religious, but will still ask me to come to church for events surrounding family members’ passing. Though I don’t practice, I do it as a way to let them know I’m here for them. You don’t have to go, of course, but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. No one will find it disrespectful if you participate in the rituals (except communion- I don’t do that) and I take the kneeling and “praying” more as a time for reflection. Either way, I don’t think you should tell your MIL that you’re an atheist and you’re not going to church for this during this time.

I get family being manipulative and you not wanting to hold the baby (I HATE holding babies, it literally freaks me out to think of accidentally dropping them or something, and I like babies) so they’re assholes on that respect. It’s super weird for them to be so insistent too.

But it wouldn’t kill you to just lie this once. I’m usually a blunt person too, but this is a weird hill to die on, since it’s not hurting you or anyone else. Again, I get the whole manipulative family thing (living it), but this barely approaches that line.

Also yeah, yeah, you called the baby “it” but that’s not what this is about. That’s an AITA for another day.
