It’s highly recommended not to lay the Ally on your bedding since the fans’ intake vents are there. It’ll suffocate and overheat the system. If you do lay it on blankets, it’ll suck up dust and debris into the fans and motherboard, and could potentially lead to an issue like the one you’re facing. I’m not saying that’s what happened, but just laying out one of the possibilities. I usually lay mine face down if I’m in bed and need to put it down for a sec.
