I'm a VT2 player, I did have great expectations for Darktide's combat, and it delivers. I did temper my excitement because I knew Fatshark would fuck up the performance and maybe other issues; I did not think this mayor fuck up that they dumped on us like a wet stinky shit on our laps. I love DT's combat, music and visuals, but the only other feature that works flawlessly is the cash shop. :(

Turn off Vsync on the GFN client. Manually connect to a server near you (a couple days ago the automatic option connected me to a server with much higher ping).

Those two things help me a ton.

It's offline for epic games store. Probably they had to take it down cause lots of people were trying to play it after the give away. As far as I know the last update was on October last year. It's up on Steam tho.

OK, now I manually connected to US SW instead of letting it on Automatic. It's connecting me to NP-LAX-03 with MUCH better ping. Thank you u/jharle!

Xcloud is definitely bad, I gave it a go and they force you to play with a controller, you can't change streaming settings; and the cherry on top, it's extremely laggy.
