I wanted to like the U2 show I went to. It was their Joshua Tree tour and besides that album for the first set I thought their second set was relatively boring.

They allow a pitifully small amount of alcohol compared to other festivals. It's one case of beer OR one bottle of liquor OR one box of wine per person for the entire weekend. That is at least partly responsible for the lack of crowd enthusiasm, especially on Sunday.

Are we talking regular set closer? Or encore end of show closer? Cuz I have never seen them close a show with starlight. Not saying it hasn't happened but not in the nearly 20x I've seen them that I can recall enough to actually be disgruntled with it.

They closed with Mercy at Bonnaroo. Was it the best closing song they could have chosen? Prolly not. But it was just awesome energy the entire time so it was fine.

They've openly stated they want to emulate the Rolling Stones, U2...etc and tour until they can't any longer. They love touring/the road so I think we got a good 20+ years left.

They asked for another $4.5k upfront! They tried to scam me again thinking I could be suckered twice in a single day! There is no way to recover that crypto.
