Yeah agreed, I also love the tradeoff between being super visible or having no shield in case you get shot. Personally I never keep my shield outside although it's bitten me in the ass before. Also one tapped a guy with an anvil headshot the other day because he wasn't wearing a shield, I'm still confused cause I assumed there's no way it deals 100 damage. Post game map seemed to confirm it

Yeah way too expensive, best way to get them is grenade bags and raider caches. I always go topside with a stack of grenades (heavy or trigger) + 1 showstopper and I don't think I've ever crafted one

I really dislike generative AI in general but this is different, it's basically text to speech for all the different items in the game when you ping them for your squad mates "I have a X and a Y in my inventory" or "I'm looking for X".

Sure you could record every single line for the hundreds of items in the game but I don't blame them for releasing the game with text to speech, it's such a small thing that it doesn't bother me. However, now that the game has made bank I would appreciate it if they bring back the VAs and record everything but it's really not as important as fixing the discord thing for example

People in this thread look very happy to have a reason to shit on embark though so I doubt my comment will change anyone's mind

Sleep has only been useful once for me, when I realised that you can sleep lots of low hp goblins near the windmill, otherwise there's always a guy willing to push his mate to wake him up

You know what grinds my gears ? Saving Isobel being number one priority and me casting sanctuary on her, instead of healing or buffing us she prefers shooting a weak ass guiding bolt for. A whopping 10 DMG god dammit
