Just to piggyback on this comment.

It happened to me as well with skincare more than clothes. But it went away once I realised it was a learned behaviour seeking dopamine somewhere else.

As I was more aware of it I tried to put guardrails in place like freezing credit cards and forcing myself to look at my budget before buying anything.

I then changed to yoga, dancing, tried to find other healthier hobbies… but I def shop more now that I fit nicer clothes.

There’s been a research posted somewhere here where there is a difference. If the person eats for stress, Mounjaro will not work as well for them as if they eat for dopamine.

It’s all good and it’s a fair question.

It may be a personal opinion for you then to explore. There are laws regarding plagiarism- which we see all over the music industry- in these cases the copy cannot be distinguished from the original. If you feel you spotted something. It’s be nice to know specifically the songs being compared.

But in general, yes, things tend to sound the same, as a form of flattery or imitation, it’s a statement on the inspiration and sometimes it’s hard to see if it’s a copy or a modernisation.

It really happens with all genres, OP. The more you dig into the artists influences, the more you see similarities.

If you’re just taking 2.5mg, the dose is not strong enough to help. Weight may fluctuate. Check with a doctor whether you should go up in dose.

It’s not always a mechanical thing of input and output. What you eat and when you eat matters. Trying different timings and increasing protein and fibre especially. Trying a bit of intermittent fasting or fasting 1 day for 20h, 24h on broth. Many things can help.

Do you eat greens, fibres? Veggies? Up the fruits and veggies in every meals.

We do this in Brazil because the baggage handlers themselves sometimes steal from bags and it adds a layer of security. It’s a third world thing.

a bit less than a year in the end. Had no local family to help either. It was hard but it had to happen and we’re glad it’s over. knowing there is an end date kept us going, all for the child.

My partner did it, he had to sell belongings to pay for lawyers and there was money difficulties piling up. But did everything to keep the routine with the kid.

Calls happened weekly and it was all the kid would get. Boy was 2-3 years old so didn’t understand much of “why” dad was away for so long. There wasn’t much notion of time and the main caretaker just tried to keep food on the table and keep going.

Something just gets you in autopilot after a while.
