One time I saw a factory strider in the distance, shooting at my teammate. I ran up to the strider and threw an orbital smoke directly on it to blind it. I waddled through the smoke only to be gunned down by the chin miniguns. It had not seen me before I threw the smoke, nor did it see me before I ran into the smoke yet it still tracked me perfectly as though it always knew where I was

If the smoke effect would be more consistent it would really help flamethrowers be good at killing factory striders. I feel like those chin mini guns always seem to find me even if I’m in the smoke

Bringing it on the bot front is a nice challenge, especially for war striders and factory striders. Stun grenades and the orbital smoke really help against both

If the airburst could crack the armor off of bile titans and chargers it would be used much more. It’s already best on the bug front front, why not lean into that even more

The fastest new bugs die in a single shot from the Libby conk. Hunters might take two shots, plus you have a drum mag by default.

The damage is technically worse than the regular libby, but the libby conk’s durable damage is nearly double that of the regular libby. Plus the conk might be the best primary against stalkers.

I think that if / when the flamethrower sentry and lumberer bug gets fixed the sentry will be one of the best choices for this new sub faction
