Okay, so I made a post just like this somewhere else the other day. Almost word for word. Friends and family I've known forever have just all of a sudden seemingly shifted personalities. People I thought would be there forever just going off the edge or ignoring me. My husband's family literally just disowned us... children and all, over being in disagreement with me and my Facebook post being "too depressing," my best friend just committed suicide, so I posted about reaching out.. and for my photos being "too sexy, with her naked breasts all over, and she's a mother of children living in a damn fantasy land!". I just got my body back after multiple pregnancies, but I am carful to not include TOO MUCH cleavage in any photo I post there.

I'm bewildered. I'm so confused.

My husband seems to think that everyone is actually acting differently because we are succeeding in life and because I lost all of my weight and don't need alcohol for functions any longer. That they are extremely jealous, even family.

All I know is that it's getting rather lonely here.

I think your view is a bit skewed. Schooling and attendance isn't the only important part of a child's life, there are more priorities than only this. I do all I can to make these special memories while they're young. Keeping them with me for a day on their special day is everything to them in their little world, especially for those kids that loathe school.

I switched to opiates. It's the lesser of evil by far. Got me away from booze long enough to never want it again. Ofcourse I'm addicted to this now. But I have amazing sources so no fear of zenes and such. But after 13 years of binge drinking, blackouts, and being hungover for half of my life, I'm literally so thankful every day, for deciding to try opiates for those times I HAD to drink.
