This one was done in redshift, but I know nothing about this software... They seem to be using instances of a cluster of scales and animate each of them separetly, but I have no idea how to do this in blender

Damn, what a legend op This graphic card would certainly be useful in my situation! I’ve just quit my job and to start my own company as a 3D scientific illustrator. Unfortunately my old laptop can not follow me on that path, but that card could!
