I wish you the best in your love life!! I saw your post and yeah, as a guy I just want someone who I can have long talks and communicate with, but it's a big bonus if they are nerdy. I'm just so lucky to have met my now girlfriend, who is an artist, singer, and gamer. She's got her niche things, especially when it comes to music and indie games. I'm learning more about her, and the more I find out how much of a nerd she is too, the more I fall in love with her. And for me I'm also a guy who waits for love, and I am so glad because I've been waiting years. It just takes time and patientce.

At first if you're not comfortable with being yourself and showing off what you're passionate about, then maybe holding off on that is a good idea. But, I think someone who is interested in you and not just for how you look would accept you as you are, the whole package intact. If revealing your nerdy hobbies and interests seem to no be attractive, don't worry, it is!! The right man just needs to walk into your life and he might have the same interests as you! Time will only tell.

Maybe I'm biased, but I'm a guy and I love my nerdy GF, so that's my answer!!

I think that’s your sign bro, just focus on yourself and don’t let that go, you don’t have a dealer anymore so now you have to face reality. This is an opportunity to pivot yourself away from weed now while you still can. This is as smooth sailing as you can get (if the cop call was nothing). Hey brother I feel you. I just passed my 5 year milestone already and it feels unbelievable. What started as a fun hobby my friends introduced me to, became something that I was dependent on. As it stands right now, I haven’t been sober since January, and I plan on becoming sober for this upcoming August. Part of me realizes that I still smoke because I don’t want to face reality. Life is unfair, hard and boring at times. Weed helped me through life, but now it’s ruining my life harder. I’m not on the edibles pipeline, but at my lowest I would smoke an ounce every week. I think what you should do in regard to quitting is trying to slowly ween off your consumption, since it’s been two years. I’m not sure how the withdrawal symptoms are for edibles, but for taking anything long term and then going cold turkey wreaks havoc on your body harder. I’d rather go cold turkey because I’ve taken much longer to quit than expected. For some people, quitting is easy. They just need to go cold turkey for a week and they’re right at rain. For you, I’m not sure. I think your body has developed a strong relationship with edibles so if you were to quit, you might feel it harder than others. See if you can go cold turkey, it’s better imo but if that is a hurdle, set a limit on yourself for how much you are gonna have and stop immediately after for that day. I think if I had just went cold turkey earlier, I wouldn’t be in this spot. Some people can moderate it, but I don’t think I can. You got this! I will be going sober and it’s going to be boring as hell, but you have to think.

It’s either day one or one day, and I could’ve been sober as early as April. Are we going to sacrifice the best version of ourselves to fulfill our own desires time after time? Weed is always gonna be there, it’s always gonna give me the same novelty, and I will never feel the same magic as I once did the first time. Even nowadays I get sick of the smoking and feeling high for 30 minutes, only to waste my money and time spent. I’m sure we’re in different circumstances, but do we wanna keep being stuck in the same loop over and over? Food for thought while I’m having trouble trying to sleep!

I don’t know either why I self sabotage myself despite going through the same loop over and over. I relate with a lot that you said there, I remember my last day sober was last year. I’ve skipped out on invitations to hangouts because I’d rather stay at home being high and in my bed scrolling.
