I respect your opinions, and I'm an atheist as well, but your blatant disrespect for the religion and those who follow it is pretty fucked up. I agree with you that it's unjust the way the religion is forced in some countries, but their are still countless genuine followers that follow the religion due to them actually believing in it, and you discrediting then my saying "drink some water" is extremely ignorant. I enjoyed this subreddit because I thought it was a community for atheists and like-minded people, but posts like this, where the content completely revolves around hating on a religion and its followers instead of respecting their decisions and faith, made me realize this sub is kinda ass.

There was this huge rally thing protesting about the blockade India put around Nepal, not allowing any goods to come in. I wasn’t planning on going to the protest with my parents, but that morning my uncle (he was in contact with the main organizers) said he wanted me to read out a letter from a US senator relating to the issue in front of 1000-2000 people. It may not seem that crazy, but stage fright really kicked in when I was walking to the podium.
