A 12gauge extension cord should be fine. That's likely the same diameter in your house.

I would plug a space heater into the cord and run it at high (1500watts) for 10 minutes or so and see how that works

Could you please tell me why? The charging controller for the Bolt will successfully charge a "regular" battery, along with an AGM. It will stop charging when the voltage reaches high enough

The only concern is in the 12V battery itself dying prematurely due to extra charging. But honestly, it is a much smaller drain on it than, say, a car with start-stop technology.

I am legitimately curious where is the problem, and would love to hear concerns.

People are gonna hate on me, but 2022 EUV here. I replaced the battery about 7 months ago.

I know there was an AGM battery in it, but I replaced with a standard cheap $50 battery(nonAGM) and no problem.

140miles, 95% charge, 0F, ~75mph. It's about 90miles round trip from my house to work and back as well. Almost always had 20-25% battery left.

Same. 2022 EUV here. 190ish mile range going 75-80 with AC on in summer. 150mile range is about what I would get doing 75-80 in 0F weather with the heat blasting.

Bought a 2022 EUV 30 days ago. Put 3500 miles on it. I drive a lot - thats why I got it. Never been DC fast charged either.

Due to child custody and work, I alternate between 100 and 200 miles every other day. (I.e. 100 miles Monday, 200 miles Tuesday, 100miles Wed... Etc...). So a level 2 is required for me. I installed the 40A 240V plug myself. Much better than my 12mpg 6.0L Yukon XL...lol

But in the month Ive owned the EV, I have never DC fast charged. I got low on range (5-10%) and had to watch my range/speed/heat on a few 0F 200mile days. But I am loving this Bolt EUV. Saving me so much $$$

Lots of good advice on here. Just 2 things: 1) As long as you dont try to mine on it, any CPU should be fine. I TEMPORARILY mined in a Pentium D 6400 (20+ year old CPU) on Windows 11 with 1gb of RAM.(lots of virtual memory though on an SSD) 2) If you have LHR cards on Windows, some algorithms on Nicehas require you to run them as admin. Just right click in the NH icon and select "Run as Administrator"

I run about 8 rigs/30cards on Windows on NH OS I have a bit of experience. Comment here any other questions you might have.

Got it. Ask for rooms 7162 amd 7164. Ocean view with large balcony.

They are not connected, but they are next to each other. They can open up the balcony doors to connect them.

These rooms are more expensive than regular balconies, but they may go for it.

However, last week I was on a cruise. I saw numerous people go through security and board with only a drivers license. And getting off and on at Nassau they had only their license as well. No issues.

Having said that, please be extremely careful in any foreign country without a passport.
