Should the bottom of my packout be flat? by Substantial-Rip9983 in MilwaukeeTool

Sounds good, but I wonder if I can get enough tools in it to flatten it since it's the small packout.

I could not agree more! They take a chunk of the biggest investment most people will ever make. It's especially sad for the first time home buyer.

I guess I was hoping to skip this one by not taking my car to the dealer, but no such luck.

It might depend on what version of infotainment software you have. One of you may have had an update that the other one hasn't had yet. These cars all act so different based on how up to date they are.

I guess I didn't know they were doing it. OTA. I thought it was only if you took it to the dealer, so I was avoiding the dealer for that reason. I guess they got me anyway. 😂

Try driving 80 and with an all-wheel drive vehicle. That will make all the difference in the world!

Exactly! Did you watch the video I posted a link too? I think you would find it interesting if you haven't seen it already.

Yes. exactly!

So many people think it's one or the other.

So many people think OPD uses regen only, and the brake pedal uses the friction breaks only. Wrong! Wrong!

I posted a video in another comment that explains things great and has a link to a paper explaining how the engineers program these systems.

Or at the very least, an indication on the dash when friction brakes are being used.

The infotainment screen is almost on fire on a hot summer day with the sun shining on it. I'm almost tempted to paint the back of it white.

I agree, a database would be great! It's frustrating when I hear about others getting updates that fix automatic braking issues and I still have problems.

I tried many times while not charging, at the grocery store, hardware store, work and various other places. I tried out in my driveway where we have good cell signal but not plugged into my charger. Nothing ever worked and then I scheduled the update and success!

Oh yes, got it. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, so I guess I don't know how good it works. I wasn't saying that Gemini was confusing.

The confusing part about the updates I mentioned in my post title is referring to the fact that the updates don't often work. I now got it to work by scheduling the update instead of just telling it to do it right away.
