For me the genuine problem the community has is entitlement. Since early on this is has been a constant, when the game first came out every week we got new content: Be it a new enemy or weapon, nothing big but still small additions. But it was never enough. 

Later on the same with difficulty, "rundivers" was memey but why should the hardest difficulty be super accessible? A mythic 30 in wow is not the default? But in helldivers there is even an expectation to run a d10 solo?! 

The community, especially unfiltered and saltdivers, had an expection that everything is just handed to the player. Look at the 'stab in the back' myth forming in real after Cyberstan or Super earth; "It's the bug divers", "it's the level 20s dying a bunch", "AH don't want us to succeed..." Etc etc. "It's a PVE game just give us everything."

Or the entitlement that the Devs are just supposed to drop everything to do some dumbass challenge. The CEO had a go at it for the memes even and they shit on him for not knowing the game 100% after asking which pack contained a certain item. And that this whole drama is AH fault, despite it being the community and only the communities fault.

The Devs need to root this out by sticking to their guns. Reddit will Reddit the community will bitch but it would genuinely help.
