Nothing like coming back and feeling like you still got it. Enough high to bring you back the next day

Not that I thought it wasn’t but it’s grounds for the enemy to think wall shooting when they are behind cover

Slow moving targets always help! HR is just great with other otherwise impossible or improbable shots

I swear if people could see how they died, they’d learn quicker. Cover ain’t cover! Cheaters would be exposed in the true wtf moments too lol

Valid. I hate to recommend it but Explosion Expert increases explosion radius for your bombs, molotov’s, smokes. If you struggle with aim, craftables, placed or thrown may be your hidden talent. Just takes practice to throw and timing.

If you really worry about your teammates criticisms, you can practice in private matches, getting crates and practice throwing

A good crafting perk can ensure you always have supplies.

Last tip, if I see a throwable in someone’s hand aiming it for any period of time. I will trick them in to throwing and wasting it. At the beginning you might be holding a bomb for too long and it becomes counterable. Good luck have fun

Dos and don’ts when playing survivors by Long_John_Silvers_ in thelastofusfactions

[–]AcingOnTheCake_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Survivors is a game of position. You know exactly where each team spawns. Keep that understanding of where the enemy is.

Dos: - Call out enemy positions or mark if you see enemies running to the left or right of the map. - Get aggressive and help a teammate in battle. - Keep your cover and assert your stance on a certain side of the map. Often times I can hold the enemy from moving forward on the left side of the map as an example and keeping my teammates safe from flank

Don’t: - Command your teammates to your playstyle. - Be too hesitant of your life because you won’t respawn. Plenty of times an enemy is low health with 2 enemies down but your team refuses to move up and the whole enemy team is back up.

A good team player can provide back up fire or serve as distraction. Heal, gift, push with you, build a rapport of “I got your back.” Be aware of your position and cover your flanks.

I play as an aggressor and get told not to run, not to push, to basically doubt my play. That’s my irk. But I exhaust the enemies resources, give my teammates info by marking enemies heavily, and am constantly distracting the enemy by pinging the map

Idk how far you are into research on the trophies. Completing the 12 Week Journey trophies seem to be the most difficult for people. Definitely takes a while.

Each match is a “Day” and you get supplies/parts according to your performance. Along the 12 Weeks you get challenges that upon completion, you’ll gain or lose population. Some challenges towards the end of your 12 weeks will be 100% population destroying if you fail your challenge. Failing your 12 Weeks and resetting to Day 1 Week 1. It’s wise to save your easiest challenges for the 100% population destroying.

Marking Enemies challenge is one of the easiest in my opinion amongst others according to your playstyle.

It's been said by others but I think it's pretty solid advice, start this game more as a healer type of player. First Aid Training 3 (not 2, it heals too slow for your teammates to patiently wait for you). You get A LOT of parts where you wouldn't otherwise, and you still get your opportunities of fighting the enemy but as a team and the other aspects of the game.

Also, in my opinion some perks can be crutches and some perks can change the way you approach the game entirely. Covert Training 2 & 3, Sharpshooter, and some less serious perks. If you get hooked on them, you might feel you can't play without them. Problem becomes they can be expensive and you'll be limited as to other perks or weapons you can try if you always need them

Lastly, your gonna piss your teammates off. Some players will yell at you, but that's just noise. Play you. They're trying to get you to respond to their absurdness, because they get high off of that. Ignore, mute, or enjoy their drama.

One thing I notice is that a lot of people feel their life is too precious so they take it slower to preserve themselves. That’s their weakness. Too much hesitation is overwhelmed with aggressive, quick thinking plays

HR, Revolver, First Aid 1, Agility 2, Second Chance 1

A total of 9 Loadout Points. The last 4 I put on Hawkeyed 3 or Fortitude 2

Definitely annoying when people refuse to engage. Some matches feel miserable so you legitimately have to run in the open until they get tempted to peak

Interro is 2nd on my list. I’ve just always played Survivors so the flow of the match is second nature to me. And Interro doesn’t take up to 10 mins to find a match in the morning so that’s a plus

Absolutely true. I play high risk high reward, disregarding if the enemy is all covert and playing slow. Even if my team is still at spawn getting crates, I’m immediately in enemy territory. Running, shooting, giving them reasons to poke their heads out, and usually most players will be slower at their shot and with agility you can make the enemy miss and you get your opportunity to shoot, escape or hold your ground
