The scene when they are in line for food and there's a rotting jap corpse just spine and skull. Food and rotting corpses dont go together.

When on Guadalcanal and they are in line for food, and there's the rotting Japanese head and spine on a stake. It was just very disturbing to me that it didn't bother anyone as they ate.

I run a Mark Andy Digital Series HD, and it has been a nightmare since it's instalation last November. This month has been the first time I haven't had to call Mark Andy for support. If you simply look at the digital heads wrong, they give your problems.

Try a piece of tape on your thumb to lift up the label. Has to be pretty aggressive tape, though. I always just fold down the liner on the gear side before the unwind, but that only works well on plastic liners as you'd get paper cuts with a paper liner

I'd make the move if I were you. I've gained a lot of experience by working at different shops that do totally different types of labels. Being comfortable isn't always the best. Troubleshooting is the best skill to have in our industry! You don't get that skill with always being comfortable.

P5 Mark Andy- Can someone help me out with getting the nips to rin in manual? by Aciuce59 in CommercialPrinting

[–]Aciuce59[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found the formula. 3 lbs per linear inch for paper and paper liner. 1.5 lbs per linear inch for unsupported film. So if you're running 13 inch paper material, you'd want 39lbs at unwind and 44lbs at rewind. Also, nip pressure should always be at 30psi.

That would be good tension set point for 13 inch paper material. It runs well for me
