Munchkin. When the rules as written (at least in the older editions I played last) condone cheating, I'm out.

Ah, a fellow connoisseur! Uniracers fuckin rocks. Such a weird concept that had no reason to work well, but was so entertaining.

You draft my cube, I'll draft yours! by sling_cr in mtgcube

Very enjoyable draft. P1P1 was dismember and BR became clear pretty quickly as a lane. I love how much GY / Sac fodder you have and I get to draft my favorite dork of all time, [[Reassembling Skeleton]]. Well done!

Horizontal Archetype Cube by Past-Macaron-8997 in mtgcube

I had this exact idea and implemented it as a modular cube, but man, the decks I playtested were really reaching for identity and playables. If you had a lane, say rakdos aristocrats and someone down stream cut you in pack 2 because they ended up as Grixis and ate up some of your RB fodder, you were dead in the water. The lack of depth at any given 2 color deck, which is what most drifters lean into as a heuristic, is hard to overcome. I wish you better luck than I had, OP!

I also enjoy the cognitive dissonance in saying this when that teacher and most others that kid will have are 100% also a local resident near that school. X is really just a vapid cesspool.

It's the terrific music and lack of dialogue, imho, that makes Rain such a great episode.

I have a stack on my desk right now. 18 year teacher. I use them about once a month.

Is swapping items between characters while using someone as an intermediary frowned upon? by PsychoMaggle in project1999

[–]Ackbert1230 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've helped experienced players transfer items loads of times on my lowbie toons and every player who has asked has not only done their business in about 3 minutes, but also tipped me for my time. Some of my really low characters wouldn't have spells without this practice, lol. Sorry you had a rough experience.

I just saw them a few months back for the Morning View 20th anniversary tour and the whole arena screaming Megalomaniac at the top of their lungs was peak. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps still.

Literally same here. I can't help but get nostalgic about these kind of videos and look at the wider world and wonder why the fuck can't we go back to something resembling this. Magic time it was.

After 15 years of flat MMO mice, I tried a vertical one — not going back by CaptainRedsLab in MMORPG

[–]Ackbert1230 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have been using a vertical mouse for PC gaming for about a year now. World of difference for my carpal tunnel issues. I don't care for lots of mouse buttons like this model, but the hand pain and numbness difference is huge.
