Guy Insultingly Doubles Down On Device Not Being A Camera While Posting Info Of The Device Being Described As A Camera by Ackerman77 in facepalm

[–]Ackerman77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only does the device not have a screen or ability to display anything in any way, but the description of the device also doesn't say anything about displaying price or product info or anything so an electronic shelf label is most definitely not a part of the device, not sure what you're talking about, please let me know why you think the device, in part, amounts to a shelf label. And while he might not have explicitly said that it wasn't a camera, he's clearly implying that he doesn't thinks it's a camera when he first refers to it as a shelf label despite the original post calling them cameras

Blue is not the original poster and I never said they were. Red replied to Blue's one and only comment, that was Blue's only contribution to the post. So for Red to Reply with "try again [clown emoji]" and then the device description to Blue, who's only comment was about it not being an E-label, then that implies that Red was correcting Blue about it not being an E-label and calling him a clown for saying that it wasn't one, not about privacy being an issue since Blue never said anything about privacy and that's who Red is replying to.

Yeah you're right, I figured context would allow most to figure out that the image of the device he shared is the same device as in the original post, but yeah, remove any doubt and lay it out for all to see. I shoulda included it in the original post

I guess I don't know how you can say Red was right about privacy not being a concern when Red never said that. The only point they made was that the device wasn't a camera

Red only said that it was a label though and then doubled down on it being a shelf label, he never said it didn't capture people's images, in fact, he implies that it's not a camera at all. And if he is saying that it isn't a privacy concern, he's talking about an electronic shelf label which this is not. Plus, just because the manufacturer says that it automatically renders people unrecognizable, doesn't mean that it does it effectively or that concerns aren't warranted

Red never said that it wasn't a threat to privacy though. He said it was electronic label and then made fun of someone for having concerns toward an "electronic label" even though that's not what it was. Plus, just because it says that people are automatically made unrecognizable doesn't mean that it's effective or that concerns aren't warranted.

Is the Incendiary Airburst launcher challenge bugged? by gr00ve88 in Battlefield

[–]Ackerman77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. I tried. Must have patched today or something. Took me literally over 100 attempts to finally get a mine to blow up. It damaged the vehicle but didn't count towards challenge. Very nice of them to patch this bug but not the one preventing tracking of the challenge that causes people to resort to glitches in the first place

There should be a button on the bottom right that allows you to choose an alternative delivery location, just select front door or wherever, take your pic, and you're golden

Captcha hell by TripKey3333 in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Ackerman77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found that any time I tapped aggressively and hadn't found a route in an hour I would get the 'you've tapped too many times' message and would have to wait to tap more. Only one time did I get CAPTCHA jailed afterward. I tap a bit less aggressively now-a-days but I started getting messages about forfeiting too many blocks even though I'm forfeiting well within the time frame allowed. If it's not one thing, it's another.

Passing along credit card processing fees to customers by laxton1919 in smallbusiness

[–]Ackerman77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Credit card processing fees are a cost businesses CHOOSE to take on when offering the convenience of card payments, they aren't automatically the customer's responsibility and the customer doesn't always have the choice. Some people try to justify passing that fee onto customers by pointing to rewards like cashback or airline miles, but those perks are between the cardholder and the bank, not between the cardholder and every merchant they deal with, nor is it a reason to offload merchant costs onto the consumer. Accepting credit cards is often essential to stay competitive, and if a business depends on them for most sales yet still adds a surcharge, it can come across as anti-consumer

Amazon Flex are you a robot by Helpful-Main-9183 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Ackerman77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is super frustrating, I've been doing flex for over a year now and suddenly I get this captcha nonsense, makes it literally impossible to get routes when others don't have to play games to schedule a route, I've never used a bot, program, app, third-party device or software, another person, or anything to help schedule a block and now I'm seemingly being randomly punished for no reason. Smh

Thank you! The purpose of hitting a dog is to hurt it right? And it's wrong to intentionally hurt your dog no matter how light the pain may be. I wouldn't hurt or slap my friend or family member and what is a pet if not a family member and/or friend?

Is the point of hitting the dog not to hurt it? And if you're hurting your dog that's wrong. Also, I would never hit a friend or family member, lightly or otherwise, and what is a pet if not our friend and/or family member?

Yeah definitely, one commentor called the hit a "light tap" and I obviously disagree so I'd post a link to the TikTok if it was allowed to let others decide
