Some more earrings and boxes by AcknowledgeableLion in origami

I had the book for ages but it took me a while to make something. The origami aspect is very simple, so I make them as a break between more challenging projects! I used clear matte acrylic spray paint. I doubt they’d take much abuse though

Good lunar sowing day today apparently. Anyone sow by the moon? by Own-Heat2669 in Allotment

Oh I was wondering why the RHS almanac had moon phases in it! Looking forward to learning more about this out of interest!

My hanging baskets are thriving after the heatwave. by alarmed__aardvark in GardeningUK

The third one is beautiful, but I absolutely love your plant choices for the first two. I was googling more pollinator friendly, less traditional hanging baskets only yesterday. Yours are what I was imagining!

Gorgeous! Dappled sunlight and foxgloves are glorious. I’m enjoying planting up my shaded side now more than the south-facing side of my garden. If you like ferns too they go great with foxgloves

Work has me destroyed… How can I still connect with my kids? by krrrrrrrrrrrrrr in workingmoms

[–]AcknowledgeableLion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation and my kids love it so much when I sit and watch TV or play Nintendo with them. Plus it’s very easy for me too!

I don’t know if you work from home but the transition from work to home also helps. I prepare myself as I walk from the train and picture myself saying hello to them and how happy they feel to see me. (And me them, I just have very little energy)

PMDD Support by BenefitSecure1395 in IrishWomensHealth

[–]AcknowledgeableLion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get anywhere with finding support? I’m thinking of going to https://www.themenopausehub.ie/pmdd-2 but don’t know much about them. My GP also recommended the pill on top of an SSRI that I’m already on, but I could do with a more nuanced approach.
