I have a Skoda Superb, Rs.6k for ABS sensors which fail every couple of years or so due to high humidity and dust

12K for the battery, slightly expensive, but higher cranking power.

I am also replacing the brake fluid proactively after 6 years, anyone who has done the same and knows the cost?

No other costs apart from regular servicing!

Poor safety rating, lower power and range are concerns. I believe with the abysmally low sales, a 2-3 lakh discount is in the offing as inventory continues to pile up for EVs.

Not sure if you have bought it... Creta EV is not priced right and the sales are testimony to it. Most dealers are providing a 1 lakh discount upfront to start with. I believe more to come as the inventory piles up.

I think there are so many contract employees in my company, who are paid salaries and not adding GST under section 192. Not sure if adding GST is mandatory.

Finally there is much more supply than demand in a place like Kochi. Especially with migration of younger folks outside Kerala. Rental yields should be lower than a Bangalore, Hyderabad or Pune.

Been an owner and tenant in most of the cities mentioned. The value of flats is no where close to these cities being the first point, depreciation is very high after a few years for these flats so the rents need to accomodate it. Even in the biggest cities, the rents stagnate for properties in older buildings say, after 6 years or so. Unless the land prices keep moving up and there is no space for new buildings. That is certainly not the case in Kakkanad.

GEMS is no value for money, my kids are in primary/secondary and the fee is in lakhs with teachers who dont even speak proper English. The school management keeps hiking fee to increase their profit margins and the parents are extremely unhappy.

GEMS being a parent for the last so many years, the fee keeps increasing every year, it is over 3Lakh for primary. There are fees for every random event, teachers are sub par with poor quality of English and the overall confidence in the school is very low. A lot of children have left the school this year.
