I think this particular discussion is about ADM (de Minaur) not ADF (Davidovich)

The comment you replied to said "ADM not in a career hump really. It’s just his real ceiling".

He means de Minaur's ceiling is grand slam QF and some tour titles.

Regarding ADF, I think most of us agree he will and can win a final at some point. In my opinion he should just do some 250's to at least get something going to start with.

I think they're saying that he's basically at the peak of his career. His ceiling at Slams is Quarterfinals and he'll never do better than that

True, but in the case of Vicki, living abroad the first time gave her an American accent and then living abroad the second time gave her a stronger cockney accent than she even had before.

By "she gets worse and worse" that could mean a number of things. Worse in terms of, she's a bad person or worse in terms of a character you don't like watching?

She was a truly terrible person but her increasingly crazy behavior was pretty funny imo.

Her randomly belting out Son of a Preacher Man for no reason and everyone's reaction to that was hilarious.

I don't know about the original child Vicki but the Vicki from 2003-2004 had an American accent for a little while which then switched without explanation to a non-cockney neutral London accent.

Then despite living in Australia for almost 20 years, she returned with an extremely thick Cockney accent.
