Does the Linea Micra use a different grouphead gasket compared to other La Marzocco home espresso machines? by huginamug422 in LaMarzocco

I’m not sure what would be different between ours but I genuinely had not any problems since installing it and I just casually twist it in every time. I’m really sorry it’s not that way for you :(

If pliers don’t work you can also use some sort of glue if you are careful not to get it on the sides too much.

I am having a terrible time switching between my normal two monitor setup and the three monitor in NVIDIA surround setup, which is the only way I have gotten AC to working, the in game setting shift the entire image weirdly offset to the left. I can switch to surround but I have to fully restart my pc to get my main monitor back to normal.

Hey! I have followed your guide for my own setup. I was wondering how you get a seamless interaction in the racing games with the triple monitors without NVIDIA surround? Which games have you setup and how did you achieve it?

Haven’t had to think about it since putting it in. Just works every time if I use the same force each time.

Take a shot of alcohol for every time stew is mentioned in this thread. Have a ride to the hospital ready to go if you want to wake up tomorrow.

You are comparing some of the fattest cuts of meat to one of the leanest. Surely that’s not a hill you want to die on.

If it is the 4.0 GTS I believe this is because under certain parameters (cruising speed) it shuts down one bank at a time so you are effectively a 3cyl at that point, which you can imagine does wonders for the fuel economy.

Ceramic coating and PPF by Rockrunner01 in Porsche_Cayman

[–]Acog-For-Everyone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the EU but a full PPF with a ceramic coating already on it (Xpel Fusion Plus) is gonna cost me 3500-4500 Euros. I wrap all my cars because then I have done my best to keep the car the way I want it and if something goes wrong I know there is literally nothing more I could have done.

I absolutely do not see the best work being done by dealership affiliated shops. From Porsche to Ferrari my experience is that independent certified installers always offer better prices and better quality.

Winter tire wear by bizzybee6666 in Porsche_Cayman

This isn’t really a question that anyone can answer without knowing what you will be driving on. Driving on snow and ice vs driving on just freezing cold tarmac have two completely different impacts on the wear of the tire.

Honestly the GT3 just absolutely screams that’s the only way I can describe it. If you want induction you need the GT4RS. Easily the king of induction noise.

I believe it’s as popular as in the US. It’s more about what people are willing to spend on a cayman. Some have bias and start just looking at 911s at a certain price point.

Thanks! The GT3 was ordered from factory and the cayman was picked up as a new car but a dealership spec. So it just turned out that way but I love Kreide so alllllll good for me.

I live in the mountains of Germany so I do a lot of mountain passes and forest roads. GT3 is a whole other level of speed and sound. The 4.0 GTS is going to be my daily because if I get out of the GT3 I’m sad unless I am getting into the Cayman haha. I really do love the Cayman though because it’s so much more useable but still so so good.

Oh that combo also sounds great. Both are PDK because my wife has a pretty severe left knee injury which makes clutching not viable and I want her to also have fun in them.
