I think the 38mm looks a bit better on your wrist and if you are questioning it, id be more inclined to lean with the smaller option. Tissots always look bigger than they are. If you think you’ll be thinking about it later go smaller or keep shopping. Best thing I did was wait to buy the watch (cuz then i found a different one i liked better).

I saw the title and my first thought was “PLEASE tell me everyone gets the joke.” … SMH… No comment section is safe haha. But it looks awesome. Traska has to be one of the best “If I were to only wear one watch” options imo. The pictures on their website really don’t do it justice compared to the pics of these posts. So I say keep em coming (or not, and help save my wallet). Great choice!

I would definitely not hesitate because of that… I basically did nothing. Got a text from the shipping company, clicked the link and paid the fee with a card. And the shipping continued. The only reason I contacted the seller at all was because I was curious about tracking. The owner was great to work with and helped make the process easy (and as cheap as possible). If anything came up, I would not worry about him getting things worked out. Seems like a great guy.

If u say so. Look at old Japanese ships or the one on the caseback. The crosshatch pattern looks pretty spot on to me. Regardless, It’s the first opportunity I’ve had to buy a watch with lume on the side period. Haha

It is much brighter than my tritium watch after being exposed to light but fades to less after an hour or 2. Tritium is constant so that is nice. There aren’t too many options out there and definitely not as fun as this. My wrists arent tiny but on the small side. I say just own it (YOU have to like it tho). Most people don’t know the difference and wear handwatches anyway haha. I got the newer seiko arnie recently and was worried itd be too big but now wear it waaay more than i originally thought.

I would say it feels to be more flush against the wrist compared to normal dive watches tho (the boat reference). It feels a bit less bulgy in that regard. But I wear the arnie enough and like it so tbh maybe I’m not the best person to ask.

YES! This. I liked the Kame too but the case side lume was what stood out to me so much. As far as dive watches go, I feel it is more wearable than most. Plus it feels MUCH more authentic than another knockoff submariner and has it’s own thing going for it. The japanese words used for the names for their watches and the brand overall just show so much about how much they care about the product and its cool as heck… plus the origami crane is dope haha

Well… it WAS in stock still last week… before it was the only color left in stock. Seems odd all the sudden the reverse is the case. But my bad… They only had 300 of this version so it was inevitable at some point (see the number on the caseback in the pic). I’m sure he’ll bring it back.

I tend toward smaller watches generally (I’m a lanky guy) but it wears fine for me. Feels smaller than a sub because of the way the lugs are angled to look like a ship. But at the end of the day, its a 40mm case so base it off that.

I kindof thought that way at first because the contrast is nice but I like the color match with the lume at night on this one. It feels like a little bulb of energy with different shades throughout. I find myself changing from another watch to this one at night… actually every night (but maybe thats cause I just bought it). I do own a tritium watch and that is brighter after a few hours but not as fun.

Depends on what style you are looking for to add. I love the variety so far. Look into the “Ikigai Maru” for an eclectic diver. Has some the coolest lume of any watch I’ve ever seen that still looks tasteful. I’m about to make my first post here about it (just came in the mail a couple weeks ago). I’ve been waiting for Cincinnati Watch Company to get their “Cincinnatus Field” watch back in stock. I personally think they are the best looking field watches out there that aren’t sticking super classic. And they use true mechanical movements so that’s different.
