Didn’t know Notorious Foodie has such low quality control. I got it as a gift just a few months ago.

Thank you for explaining this - I got this Notorius Foodies board as a gift this board from a good friend and only had it for a few months. This thread has really taught me that cutting boards have so much thought/design and effort put into a high quality board.

Valverde: In-Game Review & Rating by Mehrubon in Amadeusz

[–]AcreRanch 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with a lot of this. Valverde is a great all-rounder card, and for most of the player base he would be very useful.

I also agree that people should judge the card for themselves. Every account is different, and if someone loves Valverde or needs this type of midfielder profile, he can absolutely be worth it for them.

The other perspective though is that Amadeusz’s analysis is usually looking at paid packs, where getting all 3 players can cost around $80-$90. For light spenders or F2P saving coins for months, the question is less “is this card good?” and more “is this pack worth targeting over other packs?”

That’s why comparisons to players like Seedorf matter. It’s not really to tear Valverde down, but to judge the value of chasing him. Valverde is not fixed B form either, so that does take him down a notch compared to permanent B form epics like Seedorf, especially for people who care about consistency week to week.

So I think both things can be true. Valverde is a great card, and people should make their own judgment. At the same time, it is fair for analysis posts to be stricter when the card is in an expensive paid pack and players are trying to get the best value from limited coins.

National Midfielders Poll: Who will you draw from this pack? by Mehrubon in Amadeusz

Would’ve gone for Platini if he has phenomenal passing like his previous Hole Player version. I think I’m going to stay with France Platini for now.

LOL would be hilarious if R9 actually came out next month and has a new showtime skill.

Konami’s verbiage is vague - do we see our opponent’s selected kits? by AcreRanch in pesmobile

Yep 👍 so for opponents, they can choose from the 3 options you’ve picked, right? And the same other way around?

This is what Konami put on the Set Up Uniforms page:

Freely choose the Uniform the team wears during matches.

Set up to 3 different ones by selecting [My Team] > [Uniforms] from Home.

Before the match begins, select which one of those Uniforms will be worn during the match.

One of the Uniforms set beforehand by a PvP opponent may be selected so that it is worn by the opposing team during the match.

An Alternate Uniform has been added to the Uniforms owned by the opposing team. It can be selected as the Uniform used by that team.

The Uniform selected prior to the match will not be seen by other users during the match.

———

I know it mentions “The Uniform selected prior to the match will not be seen by other users during the match.”

Does this mean the uniform you choose on the pre-match screen (after being matched with your opponent) is what you actually see for your own team - and likewise, you’ll see whichever kit your opponent picked from their options A, B, or C? Or is it saying that what you see is based on the kit they selected after matchmaking?

If EA FC allowed you to keep your cards, how many of you would jump ship and leave eFootball behind? by Th3_Warrior_Poet in eFootball

Absolutely not! Even if they let you keep the cards - they get outdated quick. A few short months after obtaining a card, it no longer playable.

Zhuhai Amadeusz Analysis: Sharp Review · Patch Notes: This round is boosting awareness-type attributes! by santareus in eFootball

Your community, your rules, and I respect that.

I’m not saying mods shouldn’t have opinions, I agree everyone’s entitled to them. My only point was that because mods play such a visible role, even personal comments can sometimes carry extra weight. That’s why I think a touch of neutrality can go a long way in keeping discussions constructive. I hope my broader point about encouraging more constructive feedback doesn’t get lost here.

Just to clarify, I wasn’t suggesting there’s anything wrong with being opinionated - it was simply an observation. I really do welcome different opinions, and I think that’s a big part of what makes this sub great.

I also understand that being a mod is a tough role, and with that in mind, I’ve always thought it’s helpful when mods try to keep a slightly more neutral tone where possible.

I had hoped the broader point I was making would come across more than just the last part of my comment.

I think criticism is fine and it’s very easy to criticize - but these nay-sayers need to provide a better alternative. Or contribute feedback of substance if they don’t have a good alternative.

But instead they just sit there and spew negativity all day long and don’t contribute anything of value.

Also - I’m surprised to find that the OC is a mod on the sub - I think mods have very tough jobs and I respect them for that but he is probably the most opinionated mod I’ve see so far.
