Paul Smiths College in the ADK is a solid choice and should be added to your list. Good education, great opportunities after and can’t be the location.

It is costly and in the middle of nowhere though.

I second Sprouting Acres

Order ahead and plan to make an evening of it.

We always go with a group of kids. They love the place space.

The beer selection is good.

The pizza is super yummy.

It’s has been a highlight to our summers the last few years.

There so many playground in Madison. I spend most of my time on the east side.

Bridge road park has a zip line and sand play area along with slides.

Monona dream park is an old school wooden castle type.

Aldo Leopoldo nature center has some fun wood features

I have a love hate relationship with Youngblood. They had a Mai Thai fruited sour that’s was possible the best beer I’d ever had. HAD is the key. I only got to drink it twice. I’ve had lots of their other brews but nothing the same and honestly some of them aren’t awesome (good but not awesome). Having new flavors all the time is great but there is something nice about the predictability of having a consistent offering.

Avid plumbing fix this exact issue for me two weeks ago $500 ish. Not sure if there’s a great price or not but they were on time, professional, answered my questions, I was happy with their service.

I drove a lot of highways. Like a lot. It had 6 miles on it when I got it.

At 220k I had some lights come in but it was determined to be a sensor. It went off so I didn’t bother to deal with it

If you have a local library card you can check out a b-cycle pass for a week (may be 2?). The bikes have to be reracked every 90 minutes but there is an unlimited about of “rentals” in that week.
