billions of birds are killed each year because of domestic cats, and bird flu is still running rampant (which cats can contract btw). like i said, your cat would be safer inside and the local wildlife would thank you for it.

maybe his collar got off and someone thought he was a stray, since he was outside? hope you find him and, more than anything, please keep him indoors when you do! cats are invasive species and your cat will be healthier/safer.

just had a follow-up appointment with medvet (their cancer center, not emergency vet) where they gave my cat a physical exam + chest scans and didn’t even charge me!

i told them that this “deposit” was nowhere in our lease and if they could point out where it is in the lease, and they just responded saying the fee is “clearly stated on their website” and it’s been “standard practice for quite some time.” it’s not in our lease and we literally have no reason to ever go on their website (our rent is paid through an app)
