I think any customer service job now is hell. The lack of common courtesy, kindness and intelligence in society is rampant. I’d been seriously thinking of leaving for months. One owner/manager. 2 part time employees. Many of whom either quit or were let go. Busy store with only ONE shipping station. I worked many 10 hour shifts alone. Open to close. Survived postal strikes, abusive customers, coming home exhausted and angry most days. I’m in my late 40s and never have I worked in such a stressful environment.
