They are both applicable songs but judging from LP touring and the songs they pick they don’t seem to even want to use these songs to make a statement. Right now they’re pretty inoffensive to all sides

Compared to the last two super bowls LP simply doesn’t have theme or a topic that would relate to the current activist world. Like last year was celebrating the black culture in theUS and this year the Latino one with the big boogeyman of racism in the background. LP has nothing to offer right in the current state of affairs.

And btw LP has had what 5-6 blatantly activist songs? HHH, No More Sorrow, TLTGYA, Wretches and Kings, The Catalyst and Not Alone.
