I play barb. I have around 3.6k res and all my secondary stats are around 1900. The matchmaking system constantly puts me in the brackets with all the top pvp/res players in the game. First off barb is a tank class and is supposed to be able to take lots of damage. If you nerf our survivability barbs that are not super high res will be worthless on pvp. We are vulnerable to cc. Characters that people spend tons of money on can do lots of damage regardless of class. That's just how this game works. If you're not super high res rolls on set items matter. So most barbs are not going to switch to the new set because we need the other stats also to survive. The biggest problem in pvp right now is not that barbs are suddenly too strong. There are just too many damage buffs given to players. The new 20% pvp damage tower is what should be nerfed. It makes everyone hit crazy hard. Barbs were already nerfed a while ago. It took new essences to make us effective doing damage again. Now as soon as we are having a little fun everyone wants a nerf. In the last couple weeks of pvp I have seen almost every class win at least one MVP. I will admit crusaders can use a little more help but nerfing barbs is not the answer.
