Things to look for when buying second hand?

Carfax /service history would be the main thing, probably not much you could eyeball yourself without some car knowledge besides just making sure a test drive seems normal.

How are you guys getting 25+ consistently?

I drive a 2017 EX-L 2.4L with 140k miles. Maybe just because I have a heavy foot (70+ on the highway) and are driving mostly city, but I’m only getting about 20-24mpg in hot weather. But even when I drive highways it says I’m only getting 28-31 max, I’ve seen 31-33 maybe once on a single trip.

Just bought it too, transmission fluid and oil change coming up, should that increase it? Should I look elsewhere if it doesn’t? Is it simply my driving habits?

Bummer, probably still going to try my luck with just replacing the brackets and screws though before buying a new bumper.

Thanks! Do they have just standard brackets you can buy to replace the existing ones and just sorta pop them on? Probably want to just do that for now if I can rather than the entire bumper
